The Story behind the brand – Meet the founder

“I have been practicing yoga for almost 15 years now. For many years, I practiced it more like a form of exercise. I got pregnant in 2017 and delivered in 2018. I had a very serious post-delivery complication called Post Natal Eclampsia which has a very high fatality rate. I was lucky to survive but it was traumatic. There was a lot to cope up with - newborn, a new mom life and recovering from the complication and childbirth mentally and physically. We shifted to Dubai in 2019 and covid hit within 2 months of our move. I saw my mental and physical health get worse and worse with so much going on. I had been practicing yoga all this while, but suddenly I started finding solace in that 1 hour I practiced yoga in. I looked forward to this time of the day. I started to evolve and grow in my practice. I was getting stronger physically and mentally. I realized that yoga isn’t just a physical practice, it’s a state of mind, a way of life. A life which is pure, minimalistic and uncluttered, caring for your inner wellness and the eco-system around. Soon I saw myself in a much better space in life and extended the ‘yoga way of living’ to all aspects of my living. The benefits of clean and holistic living are an essence for our physical and mental health. Yoga gave a new meaning to my life, a life which is more real, pure and connected to the elements of nature.
I quit my corporate career and took up yoga professionally and am a freelancer yoga therapist in Dubai. I wish to extend the yoga philosophy and way of life to all aspects of living, thus Yogalogy came into being.
At Yogalogy we believe that the elements of the ’yoga way of life’ are the simplest way to nurture our inner being, leading to a life which is more holistic, purposeful and clean.
This concept of wellness doesn’t only believe in one’s own inner wellness but also in creating a sustainable and cleaner ecosystem around you.
Our purpose is to extend this philosophy to other spheres of life creating a world of holistic wellness. The benefits of clean and holistic living are immense of our mental and physical health which you will gradually experience as you get into it.”
